Pete Healy

Pete Healy is the director of Crowbar Marketing, where he helps companies build brands that captivate consumers and by leveraging digital media and mobile technologies, cross-cultural infusion, and changing consumer behaviors. In 2008, he started the social media services practice at WonderGroup, and prior to that, led integrated marketing at Perfetti Van Melle USA, maker of Mentos and AirHeads. Pete was behind the “Mentos Geyser craze” that marked popular culture in 2006, and the online “Mentos Intern” viral campaign that garnered kudos in 2007. Prior to Perfetti, Pete held positions as VP of Marketing at Jelly Belly Candy Company and at Trade Pacific International, where he led innovative marketing strategies for “The Original Gourmet Jelly Bean.” Pete has taught classes on marketing and international business at the University of California Berkeley, as well as seminars on international trade for the U.S. Department of Commerce. Elected as the 2010-11 president for the Cincinnati chapter of the American Marketing Association, Pete also is a co-director of the Museum of Advertising, and serves on the Marketing Advisory Board at Xavier University. @PeteHealy
