Adam works on the investment team at True Ventures, a leading seed and very early-stage venture capital firm. Before True, Adam founded Perfect Wave Records, a donation-based indie record label located in Gainesville, Florida. Perfect Wave Records worked with its bands to give away live and studio recorded music for free as a path to monetizing the deeper relationship between bands and fans. Learning from the lessons at Perfect Wave, Adam developed the curriculum for and taught IDH 3931: Digital Frontiers, a course which discusses how the Internet and Globalization are affecting the business environment, at the University of Florida.
